Extract delimited fields:
This DDA subroutine can be used to extract up to twelve fields from the $CurrentData line and put those fields in data items named Field1 thru Field12. This routine can be called from any DDA. The delimiter can be any character of your choice. I use the tilde character ~ as it is not normally used in data streams. A comma can be used but if it is used in the data, then the fields will not be extracted correctly. You could modify the DDA to handle that if you wished. Included in the download is a small demonstration Print Attribute/DDA/DFF which shows you how this feature can be used. Some sample input data has also supplied so you can test it out for yourself.
To obtain this DDA just Download it.
